Why you should use a professional property management company

You have a property overseas and it is very exciting! We certainly don't want to scare you but we do want to give you the facts. Anyone can say they will look after your property but will they check your property every week to ensure that if you ever experience the following it can be rectified straight away.

Water leak in your property, break in, sewage problems, bad smells, electricity or water cut off, insect infestation, mice, damp or mould growth, unopened letters telling you of unpaid bills, sadly the list goes on.

Any one of these left unattended could lead to distress and a very expensive bill when you next visit your property. From less than €6 a week our Key Holding Service, explained below will take care of everything for you.

Many owners cut costs and rely on a 'helpful' neighbour but what will they do in an emergency? If the boiler blows or the water or electricity is cut off will they be prepared to pay out for an emergency repair or speak enough Spanish to have a service reconnected?

More worrying is if the person you have entrusted your keys to is not a legally registered business do you know that in the event of your property being burgled, your insurance will be invalidated if the insurance company finds out that your friendly neighbour is your key holder. ­­­­­­­­­­­­­

Thisservice covers the following:

  • Airing the property (opening windows and doors whilst other jobs are carried out)
  • Flushing the toilets
  • Running the taps
  • Checking for any damp or mould (visual only - no furniture will be moved)
  • Checking electricity, water and gas (visual/smell only)
  • Checking for any visual signs of break-in or damage
  • Report back to clients monthly

This service will beevery week.
